Our client, which is rapidly growing in the catering industry, is looking for an Assistant Financial Controller to join their team with immediate effect.

Purpose of the Role:

To assist the client in co-ordinating and managing the finance function to it`s full potential, whilst also being responsible for a finance team in executing their tasks effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

To prepare the monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts, finalise the vat returns, verify the monthly payroll runs, ensure quality control over financial transactions and reporting, support the development team with the necessary financial overview, and create initiative on how to increase the business revenue and minimize its costs.

Requirements:

Must be fluent in English, with immediate validity to work in Malta.

Must be at least Mid-ACCA qualified with no necessary experience OR have a minimum of A`Level standard backed up with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the field.

Highly computer literate with excellent working knowledge of Excel and Office.

Attributes:

Must be willing to learn and grow, as training will be offered.

Must be attentive to detail, willing to work under pressure.

Must be able to meet strict deadlines.
