Accounts in Malta

We provide bookkeeping services to our clients both at our back-office as well as on site, at our clients, depending on the size and nature of their business. We make use of a variety of accounting software and programmes from Sage, to Shireburn, Xero, Navision, Quickbooks, SAP and more to ensure that several reconciliations are made of our clients banks, their debtors, creditors, stocks, assets and nominal ledger. We ensure that all transactions are properly referenced and filed in an organised fashion. Our fees for such services are priced on a monthly retainer basis, and are calculated according to the estimated time spent on the performance of our service. We even provide the service of collection and return of documents from and to our clients by means of our runner, who aims to facilitate the process for our clients, with the intention of having less time dedicated by our clients towards the accountancy function or worries in this busy life we live. We also inform each of our clients of their impending deadlines and aim to provide the completion and submission of the required reports in very good time way before the deadlines imposed by the Government. This provides peace of mind and the ability to plan for cash flow payments in terms of government taxes due by the Company.

In Malta there are three main categories for setting up of a business. First, one may set-up as self-employed, second as a partnership when there is more than one member owning the business or third as a company.  When clients grow in size we also aim to provide them with our outsourcing service in order to better accommodate their needs, and we continue to provide them with peace of mind and the ability to offer a premium service and the reassurance of continuity.

Wages & Salaries

Our tailor made service also provides for payroll services, which we provide to a range of clients, starting from small startups to large companies and we tailor our service to provide both onsite and offsite support here too. Our payroll team assures our clients of data accuracy, consistency and continuity since we are always on time with payroll processing. This process involves the issuance of pay slips for every pay period, the issuance of an FS5 for our client, the engagement and termination of the client’s employees on the jobsplus portal, any applications for National Insurance and/or Tax Numbers for new employees engaged, and the issuance of FS3s upon termination or by year end, together with the end of year reconciliation of wages and the issuance and online submission of the FS7 to the government department. We also handle work permit applications for non-EU nationals as and when required.
